Finally, A Kingfisher

Finally, a Belted Kingfisher. I have seen them all summer long, but I was never able to capture it via the camera. Well, here it is! Enjoy!

  1. I've been seeing them all Spring and Summer. They are just to fast for me to track with the camera. I was watching the Cormorant and the Kingfisher flew in. Pointed the camera …. Got it! You can use thie photo if you want.

  2. Bob,……..great pictures. But one correction needed I think. The geese in flight are most likely Canada Geese, as opposed to Canadian geese. Canadian geese simply means geese that are visitors from Canada. I had a distant cousin who constantly reminded Wilmington News Journal reporters about it (which is the only reason I would have a clue). Nonetheless, consider me in awe of your knowledge of food and wildlife, and of your prowess as a photographer… Best to you and Robin,……………….Roby
