At about 0945 this morning while sitting in the doctor’s office, we spotted a female Peregrine Falcon sitting in a tree at the corner of State Street and Reserve. (The photo is not the one spotted, but rather the female from the 2010 season.) She was being harassed by a squirrel who was not happy that the falcon was so close.
The falcon sat there for about 15 minutes and then flew East. She looked healthy and well fed. The season is just around the corner. Keep looking up!
