Ledgelings

All the hatchlings graduated to “Ledgelings” this morning.
Taking their breakfast out on the balcony which will soon become their runway as they practice flapping and running in their pre-flight stage. In this screen capture from I-Beam, you can barely discern the pile of chicks to the East of the hatch box, almost near the column on the center left. They still have quite a number of flight feathers to grow before they are ready for take-off. I wager one will fledge by the 22’nd and all by the 25’th.

You may see dad and mom on their perch spots on Banner Bank.

Keep Looking Up!
