Seasonal Changes?

It seems as though Fall is in the air. It has cooled down in Boise. Check out this spider that is in our backyard! The nights are in the upper 40’s to low 50’s and the days are cool and full sun. Great football weather. Go BSU! Here are some photos I took this morning while biking. Some of the other photos I have taken have found their way into 2012 Calendars I made. Enjoy these photos.

Awesome Osprey sitting in a tree across the river looking for fish.

There was another couple who initially located this Osprey, so I stopped to talk and to give them a Flight of the Peregrine Blog card. I told them that there was a Great Blue Heron just behind us hiding in a tree.

Hooded Mergansers

Really a good day to be on the Greenbelt. A nice Fall day. Everything is changing: Fall colors are appearing; The river is running low; The Great Blue Heron is back; Kingfishers and Ospreys abound. Now for the Bald Eagles, but not until late October. It’ll be great to see them again. Keep Looking Up!
