Boise River Construction Part 3


It is really interesting to watch the progress on the new Dam and Rapids Construction at the 36th Street Pedestrian Bridge. I thought they were going to divert the Boise River through Quinn’s Pond and that’s exactly what they have done. Look at these photos I took today. And check out the Merganser and the Wood Ducks I found downstream from the construction. Enjoy!

Here you can see how they have diverted the river around the construction area.

Look at the size of the bulldozer compared to the size and depth of the hole.

And compare the size of the workers to the area being changed. It is a large area.
