Great Day At Barber Park, Boise

Like this artwork on a bridge support? Interesting isn’t it. It has been a while since I was in Barber Park, east of Boise, but today was awesome. First, I met some folks that I have seen on the other end of the Greenbelt around the 36th Street Pedestrian Bridge. I was with David Martorelli, a photographer and naturalist who first started to follow this blog when he and his wife lived in Southern California, four or five years ago. And I finally got to meet the leader of the Boise Birds group on Facebook, Richard Anderson. Awesome to meet these folks.
Then, we saw all of these birds: Merlin (MERL), 1, Common Goldeneye (COGO), 6, Common Mergansers (COME), 4, Belted Kingfisher (BEKL), 1, Great Blue Heron (GBHE), 2, Red-Tailed Hawk (RTHA), 3, Northern Harrier (NOHA), 1 and the Bald Eagles (BAEA), 4. I took 63 photos and I know David took more than that. They are not all posted here, but I thought about it. Enjoy these photos and Keep Looking Up!
