Cold Day on the Eastern Greenbelt

A cold and windy day today on the Boise Greenbelt, Eastside – Barber Park. Saw one juvenile Bald Eagle and then this Northern Goshawk (NOGO). (Thanks, Robert, appreciate your correction.) Look close and you can see his feathers being blown in the wind. Looks almost like an Osprey, but they have long gone from the area. I saw a Belted Kingfisher flying and tried to get his photo. That was a waste of film! Here are some other shot I took. Cheers!

Northern Goshawk

Northern Goshawk in flight.

Great Blue Heron flying by. A lumbering giant.

Here he is perched on the northside of the Boise River.

Looking for a meal.
The skies were on fire last night. Just beautiful. I had to add these here as a parting picture. Cheers!
