Eagles In Barber Park

A very cold morning at Barber Park – 16 degrees F – but no wind. Just cold, slow breeze off of the river. But good to see the Bald Eagles again and maybe a Western Grebe? The pair to the left is still standing guard over their territory. I did not see the juvenile. Take a look at the photos I took this morning and enjoy!

A perched pair. Love the basalt cliffs in the background

In flight.

Male Common Merganser taking off.
