Stormy Day To Watch Peregrines

A stormy day in the West today. Rain, sleet and some hail. (Don’t you just love this photo of the Boise foothills today?) But the Boise Peregrines are still around. I saw the female today, who spent most of the time just sitting at the hack box.

Here is the female at the box. She looked wet and was preening when I first saw her. I think she was looking at the clear and sunny skies to the west.

See? Beautiful to the west. Compare this to the photo above taken to the north. This is probably what she was looking at.

Do you think that the worker on the roof had anything to o with the falcons staying somewhat quiet today? Or was it just the weather?

Two Tiercels do a fly-by!
