Finally! Bike The Greenbelt.

It was sort of nice on the Greenbelt. Light wind. Mostly sunny. About 53 degrees. And then I saw this pair of Kestrels. They must have a nest close by, but I don’t know exactly where. Then there was a family of Common Goldeneye’s in Veterans Pond. Many ducks and geese. I saw one male Northern Flicker and heard several more. A pretty good day. Now for the river to rise – somewhere around the Ides of March – and the kayakers return. Here are some more photos and be sure to Left Click to see them enlarged. Keep Looking Up!  You might see some American Kestrels like these.
