Very, very quiet downtown early this afternoon. I only saw 4 of the 6 falcons; Three on the One Cap Center on the NE corner and one on the NW corner of the Banner Bank. I would like to say that these were the eyasses/fledglings, but that’s just a feeling.
If you look at the photo to the left (Left-Click any of these to see enlarged), notice how the new Zions Bank building, the one on the right with the “blue” windows – the other is the Wells Fargo Bank, tends to block the view of the One Cap Center from the Capital City Parking Garage. Maybe we’ll get to go on that roof next year to watch the birds. But for now, enjoy these other two photos that I took of the “fledglings” this afternoon. If I were to guess, and I am, I would say that these are two males. Keep Looking Up and please VOTE above.
