Backyard Birding Is Still Active


Although the Boise downtown Peregrine Falcons have fledged – 3 out of 4 fledglings survived – and have been spotted in different places around town, the backyard bird watch is pretty steady. Lots of House Finchs as pictured here, English Sparrows, Mourning Doves, Rock Pigeons, Black-capped Chickadees (infrequently seen, but frequently heard) and hummingbirds. Black-chinned Hummingbirds – as corrected – are still here. Here are some photos I took yesterday and today. Enjoy and Left-Click to enlarge the photos. Keep Looking Up!
