Mar 3, 2015 – Boise Falcons Sighted!

Ultimate Hack Box 1986 Hells Canyon Placing ChicksYup! They’re back! At least one at this time and probably a male. I went to the Eastman Garage and spotted this one falcon. About a week ago, I thought I saw one at the box. Now it is confirmed. I went into the Zion Bank 5th floor garage and made sure that I went through the range of the security camera. I want to get to the top of the building in the NW corner. But no one approached me. But I did get these photos. (The photo here is me hanging over the edge of Hells Canyon a few years ago, placing new chicks in a box.) Enjoy! Left-Click any of thee photos to see them enlarged.
Note: There was a rumor going around that stated, “… that [the Idaho] F&G has lost all funding for the falcon project.” I heard from the Peregrine Fund today and they said that the IDFG is still fully involved with the Boise downtown peregrine falcon program, as is the Peregrine Fund and FibrePipe. Rumors have a way of being discredited.
